The motivations for Alumni giving a gift to CET are highly varied and extremely personal. Each year alumni generously contribute to support students, faculty, and other programs at CET, however, reasons for giving vary: Some Alumni donors value what they themselves received from their experience at CET and hope to pass it along to others in need, with a margin of improvement. Still others give because they have a deeply felt confidence that money generously contributed CET is a way of giving back to a community, that will use the funds for tremendous good.
CET has long believed in the principle of proportionate giving. This means that we welcome all gifts, regardless of size, recognizing that for some donors, a small gift may represent a portion of their income that is equal to a much larger gift by another donor.
Whatever your reasons and regardless or your capability, once you have decided to give to CET, you have a number of choices for how to make your gift. These gifts are fully deductible for federal income tax purposes, subject to the limitations placed on charitable gifts.
