Orientations
Applicants are given a full tour of the facilities and encouraged to choose the skill that most interests them. After a student applicant has made a skill choice, applicants are encourage to observe the skill of their choice. During this time a skill orientation is given, and the student meets with the skill instructor to discuss employment opportunities and course expectations.
FINANCIAL AID
Financial Aid is available for those who qualify.
Our goal is to educate and assist all eligible students with the resources available to obtain financial help. The Student Finance Office is available to assist you with any questions or needs regarding financial aid. The Student Finance Office will provide details to all eligible recipients and is available to assist students and to answer any questions.
Application Information
What is FAFSA? The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a standard application that is used to determine eligibility for all types of financial aid programs, such as federal aid, state aid, campus-based funds and college scholarships. To begin the process, you should complete this application using extreme consideration and attention to detail. (The Student Finance Department is available to assist students in the completion of this form.)
Once the application is finished, the information will be used, through the use of formulas, to determine your eligibility for aid.
Financial aid is awarded on the basis of need, regardless of sex, age, race, color, religion, creed, or national origin.

What is Accreditation? Accreditation is a distinction granted to any institution meeting or exceeding the states criteria of educational quality. The purposes of accreditation include:
• Assess and enhance the educational quality of an institution.
• Assure consistency in institutional operations.
• Promote institutional improvement.
• Provide for public accountability.
Why is it important to you? Accreditation affects you by providing for the responsibility of an institution and assuring prospective and current students of the following:
• It is recognized as a qualified institution of higher learning with approved programs of study that meet recognized academic standards.
• It employs a professional staff.
• It has sufficient facilities and equipment.
• It is a stable and permanent fixture in the educational community.
